Out Of Studio Notice

No comments. News June 23, 2009

Texas FlagDon’t panic, my beloved freelance clients!  It will be a short down-time.

I will be out of studio and unavailable for voiceover or production on July 7th and 8th (Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively).  I am relocating to Houston, and I need Tuesday to tear down the studio and Wednesday to actually move.

The copy deadline for any finished product you want for the 6th is 10:00am that morning (central time).  As a courtesy, I will be working over the Fourth of July weekend, so feel free to send copy for production on Monday.

Radio Imaging: Star 92.9 (Waco, Texas)

No comments. News June 17, 2009

Freelance is never more fun than when you get to work with people you consider to nearly be family!

I’m happy to be producing the imaging and promos for Star 92.9 in Waco, Texas.  The very talented Dave Kampel is providing the voice under the direction of program director Dustin Drew, with whom I’ve work many times (and consider almost family).

Plus, it’s good to pick up a client in my home state!  Some samples below, or you can listen live on their site.

Radio Imaging: Music One

No comments. News June 17, 2009

I’m pleased to be working with Music One again!  Online radio stations continue to see growth as they serve specialty music interests that terrestrial radio cannot monetize.

I’ve been working with owner and program director Richard Cowell to re-tool some of the imaging, and I’ve also been working closely with him to fine tune the station’s processing.  Music One is a special kind of station, in that it has both a tremendous, loyal following…but also it’s a “one man show” where that one man has the sense to buy an Optimod processor for the music.

It’s the best you will ever hear 128Kbps streaming audio sound, and I’m proud to have played a role in it.  You can hear some of the new imaging in the player below.
